John M. Hannon - Managing Director
John founded FinRes in 2010 and is an experienced corporate finance practitioner.
Since founding FinRes John has advised on over $1 billian of corporate transactions both on the advisory and principal side.
John played a key role in the buildup of platforms in the staffing and talent sector (BPVA), the insurance broker sector (BHP), and the technology sector (Kubicle & Xtremepush).
Before founding FinRes John worked at Key Capital in the areas of Private Equity and Capital Markets. John was a fund manager of a quantitative Long/Short equity hedge fund at NCB and has also worked in the Irish and global insurance and reinsurance sectors.
John is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and holds a BBS from Trinity College.
John J. Lacy - Partner
John joined FinRes in 2014 as a Partner having previously worked with FinRes on a number of discrete projects.
Prior to that John was a key member of the Senior Management Team at Centric Health, a TMT investment banker at JPMorgan Cazenove and an M&A and Capital Markets lawyer at Matheson.
John's specialties include complex deals, working with senior leadership and setting strategic direction. John is also an investor in several high-potential technology companies.
John holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (International) from University College Dublin, an M.Phil in International Relations from Cambridge University (St. John's College) and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is also a former President of the Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Ireland.
