John M. Hannon - Managing Director
John founded FinRes in 2010 and is an experienced corporate finance practitioner having advised on over $300m of corporate transactions since setting up the firm.
John worked with Key Capital from 2005-2010 and worked with the founders in developing the business from an early stage with a focus on private equity capital markets. While with Key Capital John advised on a number of major M&A transactions and also structured a number of major private equity and debt fund vehicles.
Before joining Key Capital, John was the fund manager of a quantitative Long/Short equity hedge fund at NCB and has also worked in the Irish and global insurance and reinsurance sectors.
John is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and has a BBS from Trinity College.
John J. Lacy - Partner
John joined FinRes in 2014 as a Partner having previously worked with FinRes on a number of discrete projects. John has experience in investment banking, corporate law and senior operational management.
John was the Head of Corporate Development at the leading international healthcare services company, Centric Health from 2008-13. As a member of the Senior Management Team John was involved in managing 450 employees and €40m in annual revenues. John was involved in Metric Capital's €18m investment in Centric.
Prior to Centric John was a TMT investment banker with JP Morgan Cazenove in London (2005-2006) and a lawyer with Matheson in Dublin (2000-2005).
John has an MBA from Harvard Business School (2006-2008), and an M.Phil in International Relations from Cambridge University (St. John’s College) – British Government Chevening Scholar.
John is a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL), International (UCD), Member of Irish Law Society.
